What is the due date for filing TDS Returns?
TDS returns are filed quarterly. The due dates are typically the 31st of July (Q1), 31st of October (Q2), 31st of January (Q3), and 31st of May (Q4). Always ensure timely filing to avoid late fees.
Under Section 234E, a late fee of β‚Ή200 per day is levied until the TDS return is filed. However, the total late fee cannot exceed the amount of TDS deducted.
